Description
Everyone seems to have a soundtrack to their life. There are songs tied to road trips, concerts you still talk about years later, albums you know from beginning to end and instruments that may have started with childhood lessons and turned into lifelong passions. Music ornaments give those memories a place on the Christmas tree.
For musicians, the instrument itself can tell the story. Guitars and banjos share the branches with trumpets, French horns, saxophones, clarinets, flutes, violins, drums and pianos. Microphones celebrate the singers, while record players and other music inspired designs recall the experience of listening. Rendered in glass, glitter and metallic finishes, even familiar instruments take on a little extra stage presence beneath the Christmas lights.
Then there are the artists who made the music unforgettable. Rock stars, pop icons and legendary performers become collectible glass ornaments complete with recognizable costumes, hairstyles and signature looks. Album covers and band imagery add another way to collect, allowing a favorite record to join the artist who created it.
That makes this collection especially personal for gifting. Choose a violin for the orchestra player, a piano for someone who has been playing since childhood, a microphone for the singer or an ornament representing the artist whose music is permanently playing in their car. You can even build an entire music themed tree by mixing instruments with performers, records and concert inspired pieces. No arguing over the playlist required.
Why Shop Music & Instrument Ornaments at Traditions?
Music collections can get wonderfully specific. Someone may not simply love guitars. They love electric guitars. Or the saxophone. Or one particular band whose album they have owned in three different formats. Finding an ornament that gets that specific is what makes this collection fun.
Serving collectors since 1994, Traditions is a family-owned holiday store with a carefully curated assortment of music and instrument ornaments from Old World Christmas, Cody Foster, Kurt Adler and other favorite makers. We personally inspect products as they arrive and photograph our pieces in-house so you can clearly see their colors, shapes, finishes and decorative details. Whether you're shopping for a musician, celebrating a favorite performer or building a Christmas tree around a lifelong love of music, our knowledgeable customer service team is always happy to help.
