About Guitar Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
A guitar’s familiar shape and rich sound have made it a beloved instrument across countless musical traditions. This 5.25-inch glass ornament brings that classic design to holiday décor, featuring a warm brown finish, silver-glittered strings, and a black pickguard.
From holiday carols to folk melodies, guitars have been a part of music for generations. An acoustic guitar's gentle strum has been used to accompany anything from intimate family get-togethers to spectacular performances, making it a representation of joy and unity. With its classic elements, such as a conventional body form to the glittering string embellishments, this ornament makes you want to give it a quick strum.
A nostalgic addition to any collection, it can be chosen as a memento for a musician or just as a way to add some music to seasonal décor. Shown on a Christmas tree or presented as a present, it conveys a love of music and the happiness it offers.
Perfect for guitarists, music lovers, or anyone who enjoys the sounds of a well-played tune, this ornament makes a thoughtful gift that will be appreciated year after year. Placed among twinkling lights, it serves as a reminder of the melodies that bring people together, whether during the holidays or any time of year.
Text on Old World hang tag: In 1818, a young Austrian priest was trying to devise a way to include music for the Christmas Eve service that night since the church organ was broken. So he wrote a poem and took it to the organist, who composed a melody. That evening the song "Silent Night" was sung to the simple accompaniment of a guitar.
