About Red Trumpet Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
The holiday symphony wouldn't be complete without the resplendent sound of the trumpet. This Red Trumpet Ornament from Old World Christmas is a festive allegro that sparkles with tradition. Measuring 5.25 inches, the ornament dazzles with a radiant gold finish and a shimmering red glitter that recalls the regal charm of historic celebrations.
The trumpet has always been a stalwart of festive traditions. Its clarion call was once thought to dispel the shadows of the longest nights, ushering in the winter solstice with exuberant fanfare. In times gone by, the melodies of trumpeters would weave through the streets, heralding the advent of joyful times with a fanfare that promised warmth and conviviality.
This Red Trumpet Ornament embodies the vibrant energy of those traditions. Its rich color and shimmering accents evoke the excitement of holiday music, the kind that reverberates through the heart and lifts the spirits. This ornament's glistening body, crafted to resemble the stately form of a trumpet, seems poised to release a chorus of festive tunes, inviting the lively spirit of Christmas into your home.
Ideal for those with a passion for music as well as for those who treasure the classics. It's a festive summon to gather, to relish the company of dear ones, and to bask in the shared rhythms of holiday cheer. Let it be a beacon on your tree, symbolizing unity, mirth, and the melodic bond of Christmas.
Text on Old World hang tag: Horns are an important part of an old-fashioned Christmas. According to legend, loud noises frightened evil spirits away during the cold winter solstice, so festivals with noise making were popular. In the 19th century, bands of horn-players paraded through streets banishing all sorrow and welcoming Christmas.
