About Wood Duck Ornament
From Old World Christmas. Considered by many to be the most beautiful ducks, the brilliantly plumed male Wood Duck and the less showy female make a distinctive whistling sound. These shy, retiring water fowl live in ponds and sluggish streams surrounded by woodlands and usually nest in tree cavities. This glass wood duck ornament captures the unrivaled beauty of this bird, with its black and white edged blue wings, brow spotted chest and green and white striped head. Makes a great gift for bird lovers and hunters in the family.
