About Whispering Pines Tall Spindle Pilgrim
- A Lori Miller Fall Design for Whispering Pines
The Whispering Pines Tall Spindle Pilgrim stretches Thanksgiving folk art to wonderfully whimsical proportions. Tall, narrow, and full of primitive personality, this distinctive pilgrim stands atop a stacked spindle base that gives the figure the look of a treasured old fashioned collectible.
Dressed in black with warm tan trousers, the pilgrim wears a towering black hat finished with a brown band and gold buckle. His carved face, brown hair, mustache, and pointed collar bring plenty of character to the slender design. He carries a colorful gathering of harvest favorites, including corn, a red pumpkin, a golden gourd, and purple grapes. Below, the turned spindle base combines warm tan, deep green, red, and gold tones, with tiny star accents adding another charming detail.
Display the Whispering Pines Tall Spindle Pilgrim on a mantel, console, or Thanksgiving table where his impressive height can shine. He brings harvest color, primitive texture, and a playful sense of scale to a fall folk art collection.
