About Whispering Pines Raindrop Ghost Ornament
- A Lori Miller Halloween Design for Whispering Pines
The Whispering Pines Raindrop Ghost Ornament has a wonderfully odd little silhouette that makes this spirit look as though it is floating right through the Halloween night. Its long curved head, narrow neck, and plump rounded body create a soft raindrop shape, while two black eyes and a tiny open mouth give the ghost a sweetly startled expression.
A warm creamy ivory finish covers the entire piece, accented by soft brown shading around the edges for an aged appearance. Fine crackling spreads across the surface from front to back, giving the ornament the wonderfully weathered character of a vintage Halloween decoration. The simple sculpted form gently curves and twists rather than hanging perfectly straight, adding to its handmade folk art personality. A natural looking cord completes the rustic design.
Mix this quirky little ghost with jack o' lanterns, witches, and other Whispering Pines characters on a Halloween tree, where its unusual shape and timeworn finish will fit right into a playfully spooky collection.
