About Whispering Pines Pencil Santa With Wavy Tree
- A Lori Miller Christmas Design for Whispering Pines
The Whispering Pines Pencil Santa With Wavy Tree has a wonderfully tall and slender silhouette that gives this folk art Santa an especially distinctive personality. Dressed almost entirely in deep forest green, he has a quiet woodland look that feels right at home among primitive Christmas decorations and collected holiday treasures.
His rosy face peeks from an antique white hood, while a long, dramatically carved beard flows down the front in warm cream and tan tones. Tucked against his robe is a wonderfully unusual wavy Christmas tree, formed from stacked, irregular tiers of dark green branches. Fine golden strokes highlight the tree and bring out its carved texture, while small antique white and red details near the bottom add a subtle pop of contrast. The dark green robe continues around the figure, keeping the elongated design simple and striking.
Display this Whispering Pines Pencil Santa With Wavy Tree with other narrow Santa figures or woodland Christmas pieces. His quirky tree and lanky shape make him especially fun for a folk art collection.
