About Whispering Pines Ghost Ornament
- A Lori Miller Halloween Design for Whispering Pines
The Whispering Pines Ghost Ornament brings a sweetly spooky spirit to Halloween decorating with its simple folk art shape and wonderfully timeworn finish. Tall and slightly curved, this little ghost has a quiet expression formed by two black eyes and a small open mouth, giving it just the right amount of haunting personality.
A warm ivory finish covers the ghost from head to toe, while an extensive dark crackle pattern creates the look of a well loved vintage Halloween decoration. Soft brown shading along the edges adds even more aged character. Instead of a traditional flowing sheet, the bottom fans outward into individually sculpted points that give the ghost an especially playful silhouette. The crackled finish continues around the back, and a rustic cord provides the finishing touch for hanging.
Perfect for a Halloween tree, this Whispering Pines ornament pairs beautifully with pumpkins, witches, and other folk art characters for a display that feels wonderfully nostalgic and just a little eerie.
