About Western Bluebird Hanging Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
An Old World Christmas glass hanging bird ornament. The gentle Bluebird is considered to be a symbol of happiness and fulfillment. Western Bluebirds live in open woodlands and at the edges of woods. In the summer, this is the bird you often will see perched alone on fence wires, waiting to catch insects from the meadow below. Bluebirds were once quite common, but are becoming more rarely seen. Folklore says when a bluebird is spotted, it is a reminder to enjoy and appreciate your blessings. This small bluebird ornament will serve as that reminder, with its bright blue color grabbing everyone's attention as a festive symbol of the season.
