About Virginia State Ornament
Celebrate the rich heritage of the Old Dominion with the Virginia State Ornament, a vibrant tribute to one of America's most historic states. This 5.25-inch glass ornament is a delightful addition to any Christmas tree, especially for those who hold Virginia close to their hearts.
This ornament is shaped like the state of Virginia and dazzles with its detailed and colorful design. The background is a serene blue, reminiscent of the Atlantic coastline and the Chesapeake Bay that are integral to Virginia's geography. It’s outlined and highlighted with glitter that sparkles beautifully under holiday lights, bringing a lively and festive feel to its appearance.
The ornament features several iconic symbols of Virginia. A bright cardinal, the state bird, is prominently displayed, adding a splash of red that contrasts vividly against the blue. The dogwood, Virginia’s state flower, blooms in white, adding a touch of natural beauty. Additionally, an image of a colonial drummer reflects Virginia’s significant role in American history, particularly during the Revolutionary War.
For those who love fishing, the ornament also includes a depiction of a green and yellow fish, celebrating the state's popular outdoor activity. The word "Virginia" is elegantly scripted at the base, ensuring that the state's name stands out in bold, festive letters.
This ornament is perfect for Virginians, both current residents and those who are from Virginia but live elsewhere. It's also a great gift for history buffs, nature lovers, and anyone who appreciates beautifully crafted holiday decorations. Hang this ornament on your tree and let it remind you of Virginia’s timeless charm and beauty each holiday season.
