About Vintage Happy Halloween Pumpkin Lighted Display
- A Christopher James design for Seasons Gone By
That sly pumpkin grin says it all, something spooky (and a little silly) is brewing. The Vintage Happy Halloween Pumpkin Lighted Display, standing 15 inches tall, looks like it just leapt out of a 1920s Halloween bash and landed right on your table. Designed by Christopher James for Seasons Gone By, this piece pulls together a crew of mischievous characters, all drawn from classic Beistle artwork.
Front and center, the pumpkin face beams with a knowing smirk, he’s clearly up to something. A flickering electric candle casts a warm glow over the whole scene, pulling your gaze to the black cat who’s practically daring you to pass by. And just when you think you’ve seen it all, a jaunty black crow pops up, complete with a pumpkin-headed rider who looks ready to lead a Halloween parade.
Of course, no proper Halloween gathering is complete without cats, and here they are, milling just in front of the pumpkin’s head like they’re planning their next move. A cheerful orange bucket shaped like a cat stuffed with festive festooning, as if ready for a night of parties.
A “Happy Halloween” banner sprawls across the bottom, tying the whole playful display together. And that black cat rosette tucked into the background? It’s the kind of vintage detail that makes collectors grin almost as wide as that pumpkin.
Just plug this display in and watch it come to life, perfect on a mantel, entryway table, or as a standout piece in your Halloween decor. Whether you’re throwing a party or simply celebrating the season, this lighted display delivers old-school Halloween vibes with a wink and a grin.
