About Vandolls Folkart ~ Batty Boy Lantern
- Vandolls Folkart - Honest Heirloom Decor Handmade in America by Rachel Garrison.
- Each piece is unique due to the handmade nature.
- Includes one flickering battery operated tea light to illuminate the piece!
Vandolls Folkart turns a wide eyed vampire into a wonderfully odd Halloween character with the Batty Boy Lantern. His enormous stare, crooked little fangs, and slightly goofy grin make him look more surprised than sinister, giving this spooky fellow plenty of vintage inspired personality.
Batty Boy has a pale, weathered face with dark shading around his features, bold black eyebrows, and striking red eyes set beneath a sculpted crop of black hair. Tiny pointed teeth peek from his open mouth, while a deep red collar finishes the look. The intentionally aged surface, irregular sculpting, and scattered dark markings give the lantern the handmade character of old Halloween folk art. Once illuminated, warm light glows dramatically through his eyes and mouth, making that unforgettable expression even more animated.
Set the Batty Boy Lantern among pumpkins, black cats, and other Halloween folk art for a display filled with curious characters. He is strange, spooky, and just silly enough to be completely charming.
