Trollies, with their unique ability to navigate rails like trains, were once the backbone of transportation in many cities. Before the widespread use of cars, trollies were the mainstay, transporting passengers through airports, tourist destinations, and up hilly terrains.
Hang the Trolley Ornament on your Christmas tree to pay homage to this classic mode of transit and to celebrate the rich history of American transportation. Whether you have a passion for vintage vehicles or an appreciation for the stories they tell, this ornament has the spirit of a bygone era. All aboard for a journey down memory lane.
Text on Old World hang tag: Ding! Ding! Here comes the trolley! Trollies have wheels but can't drive on roads; they require rails like a train. Trollies provide public transportation at airports, touristy cities and up large hills. American history teaches us that many cities used trollies for the main mode of transportation before the easy access to cars.
