About Storytime Santa
- A Lori Mitchell Design for ESC & Company
- Part of the Lori Mitchell Christmas Collection
In the heart of the North Pole, where the snow glistened under the moonlit sky, Santa Claus found himself in a special role one magical evening. Dressed in his cozy green striped pajamas, adorned with red buttons and a matching cap with holly trim, he prepared for a heartwarming tradition: Storytime Santa.
With his spectacles perched upon his nose, Santa gathered his flock of mischievous elves, ready to tuck them into bed. Tonight's bedtime story was "Christmas Moon," a delightful tale reminiscent of the beloved classic "Goodnight Moon."
As Lori Mitchell's Storytime Santa entered the room, a twinkle in his eye and a jolly smile upon his face, he was met with a chorus of giggles from his mischievous companions. Confusion washed over him until he glanced down and noticed his fashion faux pas - red striped socks peeking out from beneath his brown mouse slippers.
The sight brought laughter to Santa's own heart as he realized his wardrobe mishap. With a chuckle, he joined in the merry moment, knowing that even the most beloved figures can have their playful blunders.
Despite the minor sartorial slip-up, Storytime Santa continued with his cherished tradition. Gathering his elves close, he opened the pages of "Christmas Moon" and began to read. The enchanting words filled the room, painting vivid images of snowflakes, twinkling stars, and the magic of the holiday season.
Storytime Santa, a delightful creation by Lori Mitchell, captured the spirit of this cherished tradition. Whether perched upon a side table, an armoire, or nestled within a grand Christmas display, Santa served as a reminder of the joy found in sharing stories and creating memories.
As the story unfolded, the mischievous elves slowly drifted into a peaceful slumber, their dreams filled with the wonders of the North Pole and the love of their dear Santa Claus. With a final whisper of "Goodnight," Santa tiptoed out of the room, leaving behind the magic of Storytime Santa to lull his little helpers into dreamland.
And so, with the gentle flicker of the moonlight, Santa continued his journey, spreading joy and love throughout the world, knowing that the power of storytelling and the warmth of shared moments would forever be etched in the hearts of those who believed.
