About St. Francis Puzzle

- Design by Randy Wollenmann
A flock of white doves circles overhead as a fox crouches close to the water's edge. Around a purple-robed St. Francis kneeling next to a lily-covered pond with a peacefully extended hand, lambs, a deer, rabbits, and birds huddle in silence. A 1000-piece scene wrapped in the vivid, stylized look of stained glass and framed by twisting vines and bright holly berries.
Measuring 20 by 27 inches when complete, this puzzle forms a window-like composition, full of natural elements and symbolic figures. St. Francis is shown in a state of tranquility in the middle, encircled by both gentle and wild creatures that are all beautifully detailed and set against a sunny, undulating background. The tranquil gathering is given depth by the gentle gradient of the sunset and the pond's glimmer, which draw the viewer's attention throughout the picture.
The ornate border, filled with leafy swirls, vines, and perched birds, adds complexity and helps break the image into manageable segments, ideal for those who enjoy sorting and building section by section. The artwork’s saturated palette and segmented layout also help make each area feel like progress as it's completed.
Whether it’s selected for its religious meaning, the peaceful nature scene, or its bold stained glass effect, this puzzle brings together art and tradition in a form that's enjoyable to assemble and easy to admire. It’s suitable as a calm afternoon project or as a thoughtful gift during spring holidays or religious celebrations.
