About Spring Chicks With Flower Basket Pillow
This pillow looks like it got dressed up for a spring parade and forgot to dial it down afterwards. At 16 by 16 inches, it’s a full-on felt festival, with bright yellow chicks strutting around a flower-stuffed basket like they’re grand marshals in the Easter parade. These little puffballs are rocking a tiny flower necklace, and seemingly mid-peep, probably calling dibs on the best blooms in the basket.
The basket itself is a pink showstopper, stitched with winding vines and blooms that look like they were picked fresh from a felt flower patch. It’s brimming with layered petals in blues, pinks, and purples, each one stitched down with bright threads that add a bit of texture and playfulness. The flowers practically burst out of the basket, like they’re trying to catch a few more rays of spring sunshine.
Up above, a crew of felt bees zip around, clearly as obsessed with the flower patch as the chicks. They’ve got tiny stitched stripes and little white wings, buzzing about in their felted frenzy. Butterflies with delicate wings float nearby, adding a splash of color to the already vibrant scene.
The whole thing is framed with a bright yellow border that’s stitched like a garden path, complete with vines and little flowers trailing along the edges. The corners are buttoned down with big, bright white buttons – the kind you’d find on a fancy spring coat – and each corner has a colorful appliqué egg, just to keep the Easter vibes going strong.
