About Softball Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
Softball is a game for highly competitive professionals and amateurs. The game was created in 1887 and was first called indoor baseball, mush ball, and even kitten ball because it was played by women. Today's game is played in nearly every American city and is growing in popularity around the world. Often thrown underhand, a softball may be easier to hit but is harder to hit it farther to get home runs due to its larger and softer form. Whether you're a baseball fan, softball player, or general sports enthusiast, this Softball ornament will make a fantastic addition to your sports themed tree or Christmas tree!
