The full moon hangs high over a quiet neighborhood street, but there’s nothing still about this night. The sidewalk is packed with superheroes, fairy princesses, tigers, and wizards, all with candy on the brain. Halloween in full swing, right outside the door of the most talked-about house on the neighborhood, captured in a puzzle form.

This 1000-piece puzzle (27 by 20 inches) is buzzing with activity. A white Victorian home glows warmly against the night sky, windows lit from within, while jack-o'-lanterns line the porch, steps, and yard. The scene is lively but manageable, with visual cues throughout, costumes, decorations, lighting, that help piece it together bit by bit.

A pumpkin-headed figure stands next to a lantern post along the gate, watching the throng with a grin that never goes away. Gravestones rise behind a line of lit pumpkins on one side. The glowing spirits and veiled reaper provide just the right amount of spookiness to contrast with the happy trick-or-treaters. On the opposite side, the homeowner is mid-handout with a candy bowl ready, while a black cat and witch keep the festivities lively next to the porch.

Bats flap beneath an amber-colored moon. The trees, stripped of their leaves, are wrapped in tiny orange lights, forming a sparkling canopy over the whole scene. There’s something to look at in every corner, and each section invites a closer look, costumes, expressions, decorations, and dozens of pumpkins with faces ranging from goofy to ghoulish.
