About Sambro Lighthouse Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
Bring a little maritime history to the Christmas tree with the Sambro Lighthouse Ornament by Old World Christmas. Inspired by the historic Sambro Island Lighthouse off the coast of Nova Scotia, this charming ornament celebrates one of Canada's most treasured coastal landmarks. Known as the oldest surviving lighthouse in North America, Sambro Lighthouse has guided mariners since 1758, making it a meaningful keepsake for lighthouse enthusiasts, maritime history lovers, and anyone with a special connection to Canada's Atlantic coast.
The lighthouse theme makes this ornament a natural addition to nautical Christmas trees filled with sailboats, seashells, anchors, and other coastal treasures. Hang it among ornaments celebrating favorite travel destinations, or pair it with other historic lighthouse ornaments for a collection inspired by the world's most recognizable beacons. It also makes a thoughtful keepsake for someone who has visited Nova Scotia, explored the Halifax coastline, or simply loves the beauty and history of seaside landmarks.
The Sambro Lighthouse Ornament brings a little Atlantic Ocean charm to the branches. No foghorn necessary!
