About Resting Winter Lamb
- A Michelle Lauritsen design for Bethany Lowe
As the winter snow blankets the earth in tranquility, the Resting Winter Lamb figure nestles into the holiday scene, offering a peaceful presence amid the festive bustle. This 3.5-inch tall Christmas decoration, a Michelle Lauritsen design for Bethany Lowe, is a tender representation of the season's gentlest creatures.
The little white lamb, crafted from resin and wrapped in a soft cotton batting, exudes a serenity that’s almost palpable. Its fleece as white as snow, it brings to mind the purity and innocence of the holiday spirit. A delicate golden bell hangs from a bow around its neck, suggesting the soft tinkle of distant sleigh bells in a quiet, wintry landscape.
With a flat base for stability, this lamb is a versatile figure, ready to enhance your Christmas display or to be placed thoughtfully within your nativity scene. It complements the traditional holiday figures with its simplicity and grace, adding a layer of softness to any tableau.
The Resting Winter Lamb is a figure that resonates with the quiet moments of the season. In the hustle of holiday preparations, it serves as a gentle reminder to pause, to breathe, and to appreciate the stillness and beauty that winter and the Christmas season can bring.
Whether it's set amongst twinkling lights, resting beside a decorated tree, or included in the sacred scenes of a nativity, this lamb is a subtle yet powerful symbol of the joy and peace we wish for during the holidays and throughout the year.
