About Purple Sea Urchin Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
Let your tree take a deep-sea detour with this Purple Sea Urchin Ornament. Glistening like something plucked straight from the ocean floor, this glass gem from Old World Christmas measures 3 inches of tide pool delight. It's perfect for those with a love of the sea's quiet inhabitants or anyone who wants to add a touch of ocean tranquility to their holiday hustle and bustle.
Sea urchins are the hidden jewels of the shoreline, their spiny exteriors hiding a slow-paced life of underwater grazing. This ornament trades the creature's spines for sparkling bumps, a design that catches the light and mirrors the urchin's natural allure. Clad in shades of pink and purple, it's a splash of marine color for your tree.
And while sea urchins are known for their hundreds of tiny feet and a surprising set of teeth, this friendly version is all calm and quiet, ready to hang peacefully from a bough without a care in the world. It's a symbol of the often overlooked but always fascinating world beneath the waves.
Whether you're a tide pool explorer, a lover of all things aquatic, or simply in search of something unique for your holiday decor, this Purple Sea Urchin Ornament is a delightful find. Let it be a reminder of the vast, beautiful ocean and the small wonders that dwell within it, right on your Christmas tree.
Text on Old World hang tag: Sea Urchins are colorful sea creatures related to starfish and sea cucumbers. A favorite find in tide pools, Sea Urchins may seem lifeless, but their spines quickly respond to any touch. Sea Urchins have hundreds of tiny, tubed feet and five teeth in the middle of their back side to eat algae and sea-weed.
