About Pilgrim Woman Spindle
- From the Whispering Pines Carving Collection
With a soft countenance and a basket of freshly gathered herbs at her side, the Pilgrim Woman Spindle stands as a tribute to the steadfastness and resourcefulness of early American settlers. This 16.5-inch figurine from the Whispering Pines Carving Collection is a beautifully crafted, hand-painted resin piece made to look like a rustic wood carving.
Dressed in a traditional pilgrim polka dotted apron over a rustic, orange dress, this spindle-shaped figure brings a little historical charm to any room. Her attire, painted in warm hues of orange and cream, contrasts beautifully against the deep green of the base, delicately sprinkled with golden spots for a subtle hint of sparkle.
The Pilgrim Woman, her hands neatly folded, suggesting a moment of rest after a long day's work. The attention to detail in her facial features and textured clothing adds character and personality, making her a captivating piece of decor.
Ideal for adding a historical note to your Thanksgiving decor or reminder of the values of hard work and thankfulness, this Pilgrim Woman Spindle can be a focal point in your home. Whether placed on a mantle, in a dining room as part of a centerpiece, or on a bookshelf surrounded by your other Whispering Pines figures, she serves as a wonderful conversation piece, inviting stories of the past into your modern home.
