About Pilgrim Spindle
- From the Whispering Pines Carving Collection
Standing tall with quiet dignity, the 17.25-inch Pilgrim Spindle brings a piece of colonial history to life. From the Whispering Pines Carving Collection, this hand-painted resin figure depicts a stately Pilgrim man, clad in a traditional black suit complete with gold buttons and a classic top hat. His thoughtful expression and clasped hands suggest gratitude and reverence, reflecting the spirit of Thanksgiving.
The spindle-style design is decorated with colorful harvest symbols, including a ripe orange pumpkin, a golden ear of corn, and a bunch of ripe purple grapes, symbolizing the bounty of the season. The rich colors and intricate details on the figure make it a standout piece, while the green base, speckled with gold, adds an understated yet elegant foundation.
Bring a little of early American history into your house with this Pilgrim. He infuses any space with hospitality and history, whether it is on a side table, a mantle, or as a component of a table centerpiece. With its distinctive appearance created by the elongated spindle form, it is excellent for enhancing seasonal or rustic displays.
Pair this Pilgrim Spindle with its matching Whispering Pines counterparts or let it stand on its own as a symbol of gratitude and the harvest season. This figure is a thoughtful addition to your collection, reminding everyone of the importance of gratitude and unity.
