About Orange Cat on Fence Bucket
- Christopher James for Seasons Gone By
That cat on the fence isn’t just watching you, it’s sizing you up. With jagged teeth bared and green eyes glowing, this Orange Cat on Fence Bucket is all attitude. Straight from the mind of Christopher James for Seasons Gone By, this 7-inch-tall bucket (10.5 inches with handle) looks like it prowled straight out of a 1950s Halloween party.
Made to resemble an original mid-century design, it sports a vibrant orange hue with bold black fence detailing at the base. The cat’s face says it all: arched brows, slit-pupil eye paper inserts, and a grin that means business. This isn’t the kind of cat you want to cross, unless you’re carrying candy.
A battery-operated light or tea light can be placed inside to give its expression an extra glow. The paper inserts in the mouth and eyes will let just enough light through to give that perfect Halloween eeriness. The intentionally aged look gives the bucket a well-loved, well-feared presence, making it fit right in with vintage Halloween collections.
Whether placed solo on a side table or grouped with pumpkins, witches, and skeletons, it holds its own with personality to spare. You can fill it with wrapped treats, tiny toys, or display it empty with a soft flickering light. Either way, this cat steals the show.
Designed with collectors and vintage fans in mind, this bucket celebrates Halloween’s boldest iconography. From its sharp lines to its fierce face, it brings that unmistakable punch of vintage Halloween straight to your home. One glance, and guests will know: the cat is king of this haunted fence.
