About O' Tannenbaum Tammy
- Part of the Bethany Lowe Designs Christmas Collection
If you're curious, tannenbaum is German for Christmas tree. The O'Tannenbaum Tammy by Bethany Lowe is a charming piece of figural decor that's sure to bring holiday cheer to any space. This adorable figurine is meticulously crafted from hand-painted resin, adorned with tinsel, beads, and glitter, creating a festive and eye-catching display.
Bethany Lowe's Tannenbaum Tammy is designed to look like a child dressed up as a Christmas tree for a school pageant, showcasing the creativity and charm of homemade costumes. The character's green dress serves as the perfect backdrop for the multi-colored bulbs that decorate her front, mimicking the lights on a real Christmas tree. Silver tinsel not only holds the bulbs in place but also adds a touch of sparkle and shine to the overall design.
The attention to detail in this Bethany Lowe creation is truly remarkable. Tammy's hat is a standout feature, matching her dress and topped with a glittery gold star that captures the essence of a tree topper. The silver tinsel fringe along the bottom of the hat adds an extra layer of festive flair. To complete the look, Tammy sports green stockings and ruby-red shoes reminiscent of Dorothy's iconic footwear from The Wizard of Oz.
What makes this Tannenbaum Tammy figurine particularly special is the 360-degree design. The tree decorations encircle the entire dress, ensuring that this piece looks fantastic from every angle. This thoughtful touch makes it an ideal decoration for centerpieces or display areas where it can be viewed from multiple perspectives.
As a versatile piece of Christmas decor, Tammy can be placed in various settings. Whether it's on a mantelpiece, bookshelf, or office desk, this Bethany Lowe design will instantly add a touch of whimsy and holiday spirit to any environment. The figurine's cheerful presence is sure to evoke smiles and warm feelings from anyone who sees it.
While Tammy is undoubtedly charming on her own, you could enhance the display by surrounding her with miniature wrapped presents or other complementary Christmas decorations. This would create a more complete scene and further emphasize the Christmas tree theme.
Bethany Lowe's O'Tannenbaum Tammy is more than just a decoration; it's a celebration of childhood creativity, holiday traditions, and the joy of the Christmas season. This figural decor piece embodies the spirit of DIY costumes and school performances, making it a nostalgic and heartwarming addition to any holiday collection.
