About Locomotive Train Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
Take a nostalgic journey back in time with the Old World Christmas Locomotive Train Ornament, a delightful glass homage to the era of steam locomotives that once thundered through the American Wild West. Before the advent of modern mag-lev and electric trains, steam locomotives ruled the rails, their iconic black frames billowing smoke as they symbolized the spirit of adventure and exploration.
This charming ornament captures the essence of these mighty machines, with intricate details showcasing the gold trim and glittery red accents that embellish the wheels and the coal car just behind the engine. The use of burning coal to generate steam and power the wheels is an emblem of the pioneering days of train travel.
Hang the Locomotive Train Ornament on your tree, and let it become a symbol of the boundless spirit of adventure and the thrill of new travels. As part of the Old World Christmas collection, this ornament isn't just a decoration; it's a journey through history, evoking the romance and excitement of an era when steam locomotives symbolized progress and the promise of uncharted horizons.
Text on Old World hang tag: The steam locomotive symbolizes the many journeys we've taken, whether in real life or emotionally as we grow and mature. The train is a symbol of adventure and discovering new places. The journey is as important as the destination. All aboard!
