The front door’s wide open, the goats are milling about like they own the place, and a rainbow just casually drops a pot of gold right on the welcome mat. Sounds like a regular day at the Irish Cottage, at least, the one captured in this delightfully busy “Irish Cottage Charm” puzzle.

This 1000-piece puzzle clocks in at 35.25x26.75 inches and skips the standard rectangle for something far more interesting: a die-cut shape in the form of a cozy Irish farmhouse. Thatched roof, stone walls, white picket fence, it’s got all the classics, plus a flock of feathery and furry friends. A rooster, a rabbit, a sheep, a couple of hens, and more than one inquisitive goat are on full-time patrol. No telling if they’re guarding the front door or just there for the snack opportunities.

Of course, things wouldn’t be quite as curious without that rainbow arching straight down into a black cauldron at the doorstep. And if you look just right, you’ll spot a little green figure peeking out from the doorframe, keeping a close eye on his gold. Is he smiling? Plotting? Hard to say.

With bold, bright colors and playful details hiding in nearly every nook of the cottage scene, this puzzle makes a fun challenge and a great visual reward.
