About Ichabod Crane
- Designed and manufactured by the artists at Department 56.
Meticulously hand crafted and intricately handle painted
Ichabod Crane by Department 56 captures the scholarly character in a quiet moment, bringing storybook charm and an autumnal feel to a Sleepy Hollow inspired display. Shown walking while absorbed in a book, the figure has a thoughtful quality that adds personality and storytelling to a Halloween village.
Ichabod wears a long weathered brown coat with colorful patches, cropped brown trousers, dark shoes, and a black hat. Small books tucked into his coat add to his studious appearance, while warm orange and green accents give the muted palette extra character. He stands on a textured grassy base scattered with red, orange, and yellow autumn leaves, creating a seasonal setting that complements his rustic attire.
Perfect for pairing with Ichabod Crane's House or adding to a Department 56 Halloween village, this detailed figure brings a literary touch to seasonal décor. Place him along a village path to create a charming scene inspired by the mysterious world of Sleepy Hollow.
