About Humpback Whale Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
A creature so majestic that its songs travel thousands of miles through the ocean's depths. This Humpback Whale ornament from Old World Christmas brings the grandeur of the seas to your holiday decor, celebrating one of the most awe-inspiring animals on our planet.
Measuring 4.75 inches, this glass ornament captures the humpback whale's essence, from its long pectoral fins to its distinctive knobby head. Each curve and contour is meticulously crafted, with a shimmer that mimics the whale's gentle glide through the water. The sparkle on its back reflects the sunlight that dances on the ocean's surface, adding a touch of glimmer to your Christmas tree.
The humpback whale, known for its breathtaking leaps and complex vocalizations, represents the beauty and fragility of our natural world. Despite their grand size, these giants are endangered, reminding us of our responsibility to protect these gentle beasts and the waters they inhabit.
This Humpback Whale ornament is a tribute to the songs of the sea that often go unheard. It's a piece that speaks of adventure, of serene oceanic travels, and the mysteries that lie in the deep blue. Let this beautiful rendition of the humpback whale swim into your collection, and may its silent song resonate with the harmony of the holiday season.
Text on Old World hang tag: The humpback whale is distinctive because of its immense size and breaching behaviors. The whales weigh up to 80,000 pounds and some reach 52 feet long! Males are especially fascinating for their complex songs, lasting 10-20 minutes. Migrating up to 16,000 miles each year humpbacks fascinate whale watchers from the polar waters to the tropics.
