Many of us remember these delicious treats, but in fact they were first sold on May 11, 1919! Other flavors of the traditional chocolate cupcake were manufactured but were never as popular. After 1950, the creamy white filling was added as well as the eight squiggly lines to the top of the cupcake. The Hostess Cupcake is iconic, and this ornament will be a popular gift for someone that remembers those treats, that is, if you don't add it to your own tree! This ornament looks so real, just don't try to eat it!
