About Gunpowder
- Designed and manufactured by the artists at Department 56.
Part of the Snow Village Halloween Collection
Meticulously hand crafted and intricately handle painted
Gunpowder by Department 56 brings a quiet, rustic presence to a Sleepy Hollow inspired village scene. With his head lowered as if pausing along an autumn path, this saddled horse adds a natural storytelling element that pairs beautifully with the mysterious atmosphere of the season.
Gunpowder is finished in mottled shades of gray with a dark black mane and tail, white markings near the hooves, and finely detailed facial features. Brown tack wraps around his head, while a rich brown saddle rests over a deep green saddle blanket. A matching saddlebag and silver colored stirrups complete his traveling gear. Beneath him, the textured grassy base is scattered with red, orange, and yellow fallen leaves for an unmistakably autumnal touch.
Perfect for pairing with Ichabod Crane or other Sleepy Hollow pieces, this Department 56 figure adds depth and character to a Halloween village. It is a charming finishing touch for a display inspired by autumn nights and classic spooky tales.
