About Green Sea Turtle Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
Gliding gracefully onto your Christmas tree, this Green Sea Turtle Ornament from Old World Christmas is a sparkling celebration of one of the ocean's most ancient travelers. This 4-inch glass decoration pays homage to the majestic sea turtles that have navigated our oceans for over 100 million years, a living link to a world that predates even the dinosaurs.
The sea turtle's remarkable journey through the ages is captured here in stunning detail, from the textured flippers that have carried them across vast oceans to the two-toned shell that's been their shield. This ornament is a beacon of awareness for these creatures that grace our seas, all species of which are now listed as endangered or vulnerable.
This beautiful piece not only adds a touch of natural wonder to your holiday decor but also serves as a reminder of the fragility of marine life and the importance of conservation efforts. Its shimmering presence amongst the branches is a call to preserve the beauty that exists beneath the waves, ensuring that sea turtles continue to thrive for generations to come.
Perfect for the environmentally conscious, marine life enthusiasts, or those who simply cherish the beauty of nature, this Green Sea Turtle Ornament is a way to bring the magic of the sea into your home during the holidays. It's a tribute to survival against the odds, a testament to the endurance of a species that has seen worlds come and go, now resting peacefully on your tree.
Text on Old World hang tag: Having traveled the seas for over 100 million years, sea turtles have essentially remained unchanged.
