- Introducing "Chum" ~ Fishing in a dark lagoon in the middle of swamp territory can be dangerous. Could it be because of the poisonous cottonmouth? Could fit be because of the man eating crocodiles? No! Beware of Chum, the Gilman! He'll catch YOU!
The Gorenaments® “Chum” The Swamp Monster Ornament leans fully into that classic creature-feature look, with a bold, slightly unsettling presence that makes it stand out right away. It’s not your typical holiday ornament, and that’s exactly what makes it fun.
The design centers around a sculpted swamp creature face, with wide, heavy-lidded eyes and a deep-set expression that feels both curious and a little menacing. The surface has a murky green and bronze-toned finish, with darker shading worked into the creases to give it depth. Along the sides, fin-like details and textured ridges add to that underwater, creature-from-the-lagoon feel. The mouth is slightly open, showing uneven teeth and a soft pink interior, which adds contrast against the darker tones. Each piece is sculpted and hand-painted, giving it a more dimensional and character-driven look.
It hangs easily on a tree, but it also works well in a Halloween display or mixed into a themed collection. It’s especially appealing for collectors or anyone who enjoys vintage horror style, bringing a bit of unexpected personality into holiday décor.
