About Glass London Cityscapes Ornament
- Part of the Kurt Adler Cityscapes collection
Hanging a collage of London's famous scenery on your Christmas tree with this delightful Glass London Cityscapes Ornament...what a great way to commemorate a trip to that historic city! This decoration offers a panoramic tour of the city with a simple turn, making it more than just a seasonal adornment. It's a token for those who cherish British culture, for avid explorers, and for those who collect unique ornaments.
With a stature of 5.75 inches, this glass tree ornament encapsulates the vibrant essence of London's most iconic features. Every inch of its design exudes the festive joy of the city's celebrated landmarks. The bold blue base is reminiscent of the River Thames while the shimmering accents mimic a gentle snowfall, adding a wintry gloss to the scene.
The craftsmanship on display showcases some of the capital's most recognizable images. The front presents Big Ben’s tower, a bright red phone booth, and a guardsman in his recognizable uniform — a vignette that's quintessentially British. Rotate the ornament to reveal a different tableau featuring the striking Union Jack, a purple crown, and the Baker Street indicator — a nod to London's literary hero, Sherlock Holmes.
This Glass London Cityscapes Ornament is not merely a festive addition but a gateway to the heart of London, sure to become a focal point of your holiday decor. Ideal for gifting or as a treasured addition to your own holiday collection, this ornament brings a slice of London's architectural beauty to your seasonal display.
