About German Stein Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
The German Stein Ornament, a nod to traditional stoneware mugs that echo with the joyful cries of "Prost!" Measuring 2x1.5x4.25 inches, this ornament is crafted from glass adorned with glitter accents, adding a touch of festive sparkle to any holiday decor.
Steins, a neologism in English for stoneware mugs, hold a special place in the hearts of collectors and adventurers alike. Often acquired as souvenirs, these steins are more than drinking vessels—they are storytellers, narrating tales of merriment and camaraderie. While in Germany, it's important to note that "stein" simply refers to stoneware, so ordering a "stein" might result in a surprise stone bowl instead of your favorite brew!
The German Stein Ornament features a winter landscape along the sides, adding a touch of nostalgia. Hang this ornament on your Christmas tree to showcase a slice of German drinking culture and to infuse your holiday decor with a touch of Old World style.
Raise a virtual toast with the German Stein Ornament—a festive reminder of joyful celebrations, shared laughter, and the warmth of good company.
Text on Old World hang tag: Prost! Stein is an English neologism for stoneware mugs. These popular collectibles are often accumulated as souvenirs and tell adventure stories. If you're traveling in Germany however, don't ask for a stein. It simply means stoneware and you might get your beer served in a stone bowl!
