About Flight To Egypt Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
Embark on a journey of holiday cheer with the Flight to Egypt Ornament by Old World Christmas – because who needs a sleigh when you can travel in style on the back of a donkey?
Crafted from sparkling glass and coated in glittery goodness, this ornament captures the timeless tale of Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus as they flee to Egypt. Mary holds her precious cargo close while perched atop a trusty donkey, with Joseph by her side, ready to navigate their way to safety.
But wait – there's more! This ornament isn't just a decoration, it's a reminder of the true meaning of Christmas – a time to celebrate love, hope, and the spirit of giving. So whether you're trimming the tree or spreading holiday cheer, the Flight to Egypt Ornament is sure to be a cherished addition to your collection.
When the Magi came in search of Jesus, they learned Herod intended to kill the "King of the Jews" because he felt his power was threatened. An angel appeared to Joseph and warned him to take Jesus and Mary to Egypt. This event is considered the final chapter in the Nativity. Here we see Jesus, Mary and Joseph on a donkey as they flee to safety.
After all, who needs a sleigh ride when you can take flight on the wings of faith and love?
