About Egyptian Cat Ornament
- From Old World Christmas
This Egyptian Cat Ornament carries the mystique of ancient legends right to the boughs of your Christmas tree. Crafted by Old World Christmas, this glossy black glass figure is an homage to the 'Mau,' the venerated feline of the Pharaohs, complete with regal pose and opulent adornments.
Standing at 4.5 inches tall, this ornament boasts a splendor that's been celebrated for centuries. With its green heart jewelry and accents in gold, blue, and purple, this cat exudes the grandeur that once roamed the palaces and temples of Egypt. It's a piece that elevates it with a sense of history and reverence.
In ancient times, cats were believed to hold magical properties, and to this day, they captivate us with their grace and mystery. This ornament represents that enchantment, the allure that has fascinated civilizations, now captured in glittering glass for your holiday enjoyment.
Pair it with a King Tut ornament for a full foray into Egyptian tradition, or let it stand alone as a statement piece among your festive trimmings. This ornament is a snippet of the past, a nod to the allure of ancient Egypt and the creatures that were once considered divine.
Give your Christmas tree a dash of the royal this season with this Egyptian Cat Ornament. It's a perfect gift for history buffs, cat lovers, or anyone who appreciates the rich tapestry of yore. Allow it to perch with pride among the pines and watch as it turns heads, just as the sacred cats did all those millennia ago.
Text on Old World hang tag: In ancient Egypt, domestic cats were sacred animals to the cat goddesses as they were revered for their powers of protection. This hand-painted glass ornament is adorned with jeweled tones to embody the beauty and highness of a cat goddess.
