About Decorating The Tree Santa
Handcrafted in the USA!
- Signed and dated by the artist Christopher James of Seasons Gone By!
- Lights on the tree light up, with an on/off switch on the cord.
Santa’s not wasting time with milk and cookies this year, he’s elbows-deep in beads, candy canes, and tinsel. The 18-inch Decorating the Tree Santa display by Christopher James for Seasons Gone By is packed with the kind of holiday chaos that makes December feel electric.
Santa stands mid-mission with a red reindeer at his side, balancing gifts, garlands, and a sparkling silver tree in one hand while the other keeps the decorations flowing. He looks like he just landed, boots still dusted with snow, and dove straight into decking the halls.
This display is crammed into every available inch. Santa is grounded while supervising the decoration process because of the brick foundation, which creates the illusion of a rooftop perspective. A completely decorated Christmas tree erupts with color next to him. Glass decorations sparkle amid fir needles, candy cane stripes adorn the trees, and tinsel scatters everywhere as if it were flung by eager assistants. Better still? When a switch is flipped, the tree comes to life, illuminating the entire piece with a cozy glow.
And just when you think there’s no room left for surprises, there’s a teddy bear tucked beside the presents and a glittery gold star topping the tree. Every element is intentional, from the peppermint-striped festooning to the stacked parcels that make it clear this isn’t Santa’s first round of holiday prep.
Designed to command its own space, this piece doesn’t need backup to shine. It’s bold, bright, and full of life, like a holiday story frozen mid-scene. Whether you're placing it on a mantel, in a front window, or smack in the middle of your holiday table, this is the kind of display that says Christmas is in full swing, and Santa came prepared.
