About Catfish Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
Reel in the holiday cheer with this Catfish Ornament from Old World Christmas. At 4.5 inches of detailed glass, this ornament is a real catch for anyone who enjoys the thrill of fishing or simply loves the aquatic life.
Adorned with whimsical barbels that look like a cat's whiskers, this glass catfish brings the mysteries of the deep blue to your Christmas tree. Whether you're the type to wake up at the crack of dawn for a peaceful day of fishing or you just appreciate the unique beauty of these bottom-dwellers, this ornament is a fun nod to the patient art of angling.
Catfish are known for their nocturnal antics, and while this one won't be stirring at twilight, it will shimmer all season long with its sparkling accents and lifelike details. It's a celebration of those surprising creatures that thrive in rivers and lakes, of tales told of the one that got away, and of quiet moments spent by the water's edge.
It's a piece for those who have a passion for noodling, who understand the patience required to land a big one, and who find joy in the simple things. The Catfish Ornament is sure to be a delightful addition to any tree, bringing with it stories of adventures on the water and maybe even inspiring plans for next summer's fishing expeditions.
Text on Old World hang tag: Catfish are named for the prominent barbels on their face that resemble a cat's whiskers. These nocturnal and diurnal animals are often active during the twilight hours and at night. Catfish can range in size from parasitic to 770 pounds!
