About Antique Waxed Ivory Sitting Rabbit
- A Rags A. Muffin Junction Design
- Handmade in America!
The Antique Waxed Ivory Sitting Rabbit radiates a classic presence. At 12 inches tall, this paper mâché figure remains grounded in its simple, no-frills form. Its stance is relaxed, with limbs tucked together and ears placed at a little lean. Nothing exaggerated. Nothing softened. Just a solid, minimal form that keeps its place.
The finish is a warm ivory with uneven cinnamon tones worked into the surface. The scent is light—a blend of wax and cinnamon that hangs in the air without announcing itself. The wax coating brings a muted luster and holds the faint aroma of spice.
There’s no expression carved into the face. No eye detail, no painted accents—just clean lines and a silhouette that relies on shape rather than decoration. It’s not polished smooth; the texture remains a little uneven in spots, with visible shaping marks and surface inconsistencies that add to the rustic feel of the piece.
Set it on a shelf, tabletop, or among natural elements like dried florals, branches, or stone. Its neutral palette holds up against both color and texture, offering contrast where needed or blending into earth-toned surroundings.
The Antique Waxed Ivory Sitting Rabbit is built for quiet corners, grounded displays, or shelves that don’t ask for explanation, it keeps its form and lets the rest of the space do what it will. No added frills, just a figure that’s meant to be exactly what it is.
