About Antique Brown Standing Rabbit
- A Rags A. Muffin Junction Design
- Handmade in America!
The antique brown standing rabbit organically occupies space and has a rugged, earthy presence that doesn't distract from your easter decor or garden. This 12-inch-tall paper mâché figure has a rich brown cinnamon coating and uneven marbling that gives it the appearance of charred wood or old clay. The surface is sealed with wax and cinnamon, giving off a soft, spiced aroma that stays close.
This figure doesn’t lean into cuteness or nostalgia. Upright ears, forward-facing posture, and both paws drawn inward in a balanced stance. There’s no expression carved into the face, no decorative elements added—it’s the shape itself that does the work. The finish is uneven in tone, with flecks and scuffs that build texture rather than obscure it.
The kind of piece that would look just as fitting beside a terracotta pot as it would among moss-covered planters or tucked into a display of dried grasses. The wax coating gives it a soft sheen and helps hold the cinnamon aroma, which doesn’t overpower but settles quietly into the space around it. Set on a shelf, windowsill, or table, it holds its posture without the need for adjustment or styling.
There’s no forced personality here. No embellishment. No grin. Just a rabbit, built from natural shapes, rich brown tones, and a surface that looks like it’s seen weather. The Antique Brown Standing Rabbit doesn’t ask to be noticed. It just stays where it is, exactly as it is—and that’s the point.
