About American Gothic Ornament
- A Cody Foster Ornament
Bring an American art icon to the Christmas tree with the American Gothic Ornament by Cody Foster. Inspired by the unmistakable imagery of Grant Wood’s famous painting, this ornament adds a wonderfully unexpected dose of art history and Americana to holiday decorating. It is a clever choice for museum lovers, art enthusiasts, teachers, and collectors who enjoy ornaments with a cultural twist.
The American Gothic theme makes this ornament especially fun among artist inspired decorations, famous faces, and other pieces celebrating American culture. Give it a prominent branch on an eclectic Christmas tree, incorporate it into an art themed ornament collection, or display it alongside other Cody Foster designs for a tree filled with conversation starters. It also makes a memorable keepsake for anyone who recognizes that famously serious pair at a glance.
The American Gothic Ornament brings a masterpiece to the tree. The expressions may be stern, but at least they showed up for Christmas.
