About Slow Cooker Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
The slow cooker is a modern invention that allows households to slowly cook a meal throughout the day without constant attention. The "Beanery", as it was first named in a patent by Irving Naxon in 1940, allowed his Jewish mother to NOT work on the sabbath, which is forbidden. In contemporary times it has been coined the Crock Pot and makes life a lot easier for the cook in your home! This Slow Cooker ornament looks great on a cooking or food themed tree, or it makes a great gift for the budding chef in the family!
