About Late Night Snack
- A Lori Mitchell Christmas Design for ESC & Company
'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except for Santa Claus. This Lori Mitchell figure, called Late Night Snack, perfectly shows Santa right after he comes back from delivering presents on Christmas Eve.
So, after a long night of delivering those presents, Santa found himself feeling a bit peckish. He tiptoed into the kitchen, careful not to wake anyone, and made a beeline for the cookie jar. Dressed in his cozy striped long johns, Santa couldn't resist the sweet temptation that awaited him.
With a mischievous grin, Santa pocketed a few cookies for his late-night snack. He knew he deserved a treat for all the hard work he had put in, bringing joy to children around the world. But Santa wasn't satisfied with just a handful of cookies.
He carefully pulled out his sleeping cap and, to his delight, discovered a secret compartment. He had stashed a few more cookies inside, just for moments like these. Santa chuckled to himself, realizing he had planned ahead for his midnight munchies.
As he enjoyed his stolen treasures, Santa made sure to savor each bite, knowing that these moments of indulgence were well-deserved. The delicious aroma of warm, freshly baked cookies filled the room, bringing a smile to Santa's rosy-cheeked face.
To wash down his delightful treat, Santa poured himself a cup of warm tea with milk. The soothing warmth filled his belly and brought a sense of contentment. He savored the comforting flavors, feeling the weariness of the night begin to fade away.
Santa finished his late-night snack, leaving a trail of crumbs behind. He chuckled to himself, hoping that Mrs. Claus wouldn't notice his midnight escapades. With a satisfied tummy and a heart full of joy, Santa quietly tiptoed back to his sleigh, ready to continue his journey.
And as he flew off into the starry night, Santa knew that his late-night snack had replenished his energy for the long journey ahead. With a twinkle in his eye, he whispered, "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"
