She’s been brewing this batch all night, and judging by that grin, it’s looking just right. The Green Witch With Cauldron Display Piece brings a playful nod to vintage Halloween decor. Designed by Christopher James for Seasons Gone By, this piece combines classic Beistle artwork with a few eerie extras.

The exhibit is 15 inches tall and concentrates on a sinister-faced witch slumped over her seething cauldron. She has a devilish look in her eye as she stirs the brew, evidently cooking up more tricks than sweets. The cauldron is topped with green bubbles that appear to rise from the surface, giving the image a feeling of movement. Plug it in, and a flickering candle at the base brings a warm, eerie glow to the witch’s concoction.

The black cauldron is dressed with orange and black festooning and features a bold Happy Halloween sign across the front. Tucked around the base, more festooning and a glowing side candle add to the layered, textured look. The witch’s pointed hat and flowing cape add pops of vintage color that make the whole display stand out in any room.

This display works great on its own or as part of a bigger Halloween scenario. Place it on a mantle, sideboard, or at the front entrance to attract the attention of party guests and trick-or-treaters alike.
