About Astronaut Ornament
- An Old World Christmas Glass Ornament
What child hasn't yelled out, "Astronaut" when asked in elementary school what they want to be when they grow up. The mystique never dies and all of us harbor a desire to see the earth from 1000's of miles above our planet, float in space, and possibly run into an alien or two! This American astronaut ornament would be a wonderful addition to the Christmas tree, as it honors our childhood dreams and the giant leap for mankind that Neil Armstrong and his fellow astronauts made in 1969 when they landed on the moon for the first time!
