Vickie Smyers is an inspired folk artist, and sometimes her creations are so good it's hard to tell if it is a truly vintage piece or a reproduction! The inspiration for this piece is an old German creation. Santa is peeking out of the chalet window, or is he hiding in the chalet from Mrs Claus? He has been sneaking a lot of treats lately and she likes him to watch his figure before he takes off in his sleigh for the Christmas Eve deliveries! The chalet is covered in snow and dripping icicles, and has bottle brush trees at the front. Such a great piece to add to your Christmas collection!
