The New York Jets are a professional football team that competes in the American Football League. The New York Jets football team, was established in 1959 and today they play their home games in MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford New Jersey, sharing the same stadium with the New York Giants! They have only been to the Super Bowl once, and did it as an AFL team, marking the first time the NFL had been defeated in a championship game. This was their only appearance in the Super Bowl, making them one of three teams to win only one Super Bowl game, along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints.
